A huge thank you to Stuart Nager for putting together a video trailer for our upcoming Rule Of Three Blogfest. We hope that this will both intrigue and inspire you, as well as give you a few ideas for stories to create around the fictional town of Renaissance. Enjoy! The formal announcement is slated for Aug. 31.
Stuart has also been interviewing each of the hosts on his Born Storyteller site. If you'd like to find out more about me, you're in luck; today's featured host is moi. You can read it here.
On an unrelated note, for those of you who follow Stephen Tremp (author of Breakthrough); due to tech problems, he has had to start a new blog. Please go here , follow the link, and re-follow on the new blog. And if you don't already follow, now would be a good time to start. Breakthrough: a thriller featuring assassins and wormholes. What's not to like?

That sucks about Stephen's blog. I feel his pain.
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, what a fantastic trailer! Can't wait for the formal announcement.
Hi, I'm already following Stephen's new blog. The trailer was surprising. When it first started, it reminded me of some of the historical photos I've seen of Cripple Creek, CO -- in its early mining days. Then later images reminded me of that failed greenhouse project from several years ago... I don't remember what it was called...then the cities seemed futuristic and dangerous. Very interesting trailer. Should definitely lead to some great ideas.
ReplyDeleteNow you're just teasing us! Off to read your guest post.
ReplyDelete@Talli - yeah, I know, but the new one looks pretty nice. fresh start, and all that...
ReplyDelete@Doralynn - You're thinking of the infamous Biosphere? Yes, hopefully the images will help serve as a prompt to get writers thinking...
@Alex - of course. That's half the fun!
Hi Stu! Aha, you removed your first post but I SAW IT! Neener neener (that's your phrase isn't it?) Thanks for letting me know about the trailer, it's fixed. :-)
ReplyDeleteI watched the trailer earlier and that it was indeed fascinating. Wishing you lots of fun and success with the blogfest.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out! I always appreciate that! Wormholes and assassins is the perfect combination for a story. In and out without a trace.
ReplyDeleteGreat trailer.... sooo intrigued. Wish I could be a part of it but I've got a 2 week deadline for my first set of re-writes on draft 1... I'll be pootling around, reading and cheering though :) Thanks for pointing me at Stephen's new place too!

Great interview -- that opening story with the teacher and your mom's solution cracked me up. And a cool idea for a blogfest; I'm looking forward to reading what everybody comes up with.
ReplyDeleteWow, the trailer hooked me. I'm checking out the formal announcement. I'll also hop over and follow the new blog. :)
ReplyDelete@Milo - yeah, thank goodness for my Mom. (Always ready to march up to school and defend her chick.) We hope to see some great stories come out of the Rule Of 3.
ReplyDelete@Ciara - That was Stu's doing, a really cool idea! He's got some great stuff on his blog. In fact, all of the hosts have great blogs ;-)
