You get a lot across in 55 words, and this is certainly interesting and well-written. It's just...I didn't feel any sadness in this story, and the surviving daughter's dialogue seems almost excited. It's great that you avoided being sentimental or melodramatic but you do need some emotion, some grief.
ReplyDeleteVery grim and packs its punch.
ReplyDeleteamazing story.
ReplyDeletewe never know what's happening.

ReplyDeleteSounds like it could be a story line for the Twilight Zone. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI could actually feel this as I read it. Broke my heart to imagine myself doing this for my son. You did so much within the 55 word limit that I'm floored. So very well done. Be blessed.
