says so much in just 55 words. Powerful.marc nash
You are a master at this: so much from so little. 55 words are not a lot, but you give us so much. Great piece, Li.
Oh, so sad!
Eek - you just made me go all cold and goosebumpy!Lx
You get a lot across in 55 words, and this is certainly interesting and well-written. It's just...I didn't feel any sadness in this story, and the surviving daughter's dialogue seems almost excited. It's great that you avoided being sentimental or melodramatic but you do need some emotion, some grief.
Very grim and packs its punch.
amazing story.we never know what's happening.
As a mother my heart ached even though there were so few words.
Sounds like it could be a story line for the Twilight Zone. Nicely done.
I could actually feel this as I read it. Broke my heart to imagine myself doing this for my son. You did so much within the 55 word limit that I'm floored. So very well done. Be blessed. http://elizena-lovingmycreator.blogspot.com/2012/02/soul-song.html
